Lia was born in Graz, Austria and currently lives and works in Vienna.
Working with the computer since 1995, she defines herself as a “graphic programmer”, developing activities in digital, performance and audiovisual arts. She started the turux.org project and later the re-move.org web site, which was awarded the Net Excellence award of distinction at the Prix Ars Electronica 2003.
She has been a guest lecturer at schools in Brussels, Lausanne, Graz, Vienna, Porto, Oslo and Barcelona. She is a founding member of the Crónica label.
