Graduation in Sound and Image at the Portuguese Catholic University’s School of Arts and Specialization in Image (1998 – 2003).
Specialization Course in Cinematographic Direction at the Tisch School of Arts in New York University.
Throughout his career, Rodrigo Areias has developed creative works in the area of author cinema. He has also worked in the realm of video-art and has directed videoclips for some of the best names of the national rock scene (The Legendary Tiger Man, Wraygunn, d3ö, etc.), among other projects. Recently he has collaborated with artists and foreign productions in projects for institutions such as the French Ministry of Youth and Sport and the English Channel 4.
He has just finished his first feature – “Tebas”.
