These three musicians from Oporto - Jorge Coelho (guitar), Alexandre Soares (guitar, electronics) and João Pedro Coimbra (drums, electronics)- come from different backgrounds and from different bands (GNR, Três Tristes Tigres, Cosmic City Blues, ZEN and MESA) and have regularly worked in cinema, dance and theatre (in films such as "Noite Escura" and "Coisa Ruim"). Jorge Coelho, Alexandre Soares and João Pedro Coimbra composed and played life an original music to the films Lodz Symphony and Skagafjordur, by Peter Hutton.
Maybe it´s more correct to talk about music with films. Some films (inevitably) are linked to the music we have been making over the last few years, but this music is not supposed to be a soundtrack or a structuring experience. It's rather a superimposed itinerary that reinforces what's already so obvious.We believe that music has a place in the immense space that films suggest..

Bildmeister (Hugo, Nuno, João and Gil) is a portuguese rock band.
Travelling among sonic indie rock, they use intensity and instrumental noise as main weapons.
Throughout the years they have created their own sound and instituted their creations as an identifiable mark. From sonic alien friends to old factories, from low quality digital schematics to loud landscapes, they insist to pursuit the same path as always, making things as desired and as engineers of sonic rock.They just completed 10 years of existence, builded on a solid base of perseverance, independence and self-control.
Bildmeister composed and played live an original music to the films New York: Chapter Two and New York: Chapter Three, by Peter Hutton.
