Different Shapes, Same Rhythm
Given the aesthetic and conceptual tradition of the Solar Gallery, the work created within the ambit of the CAVE project aims to show something on the other side of reality. The viewer is detained by images of suspended time, caught up in the atmosphere of his own narratives.
In Different Shapes, Same Rhythm, space and time are related in a meditative oscillation that leads into the depths of the subconscious. The intentional and the random come together – on different trajectories though with things in common, like time, resilience, solitude and the filling of spaces.
A Chegada tells the story of an event that occurred some time ago at the end of the day: When A’Hearn arrived no one was expecting him. He should have come last Fall before the first rains. Now, he is lying at the bottom of the lake, gestating. In a few days, he will emerge and change everything around him.
