Untitled (Cactuses), 2011

Connected simultaneously the turntables play two famous versions of the same theme. The discrepancy in duration of the interpretations enables us to hear, during the exhibiting time of the piece, a perfect harmony as if it was a duet and/or a harsh cacophony, depending in wich phase the spectator encounters the work.

2 turntables with automatic repeat function, pre-amplified speakers, mixer, 2 dubplates containing interpretations of the song LILAC WINE (written by James Shelton, in 1950) by Nina Simone, in 1966; and by Jeff Buckley, in 1994
